Our final stop today was at the Rema Shul in the Kazimierz district of Krakow. Rabbi Moses Isserles was a great 16th century Jewish scholar and legalist most famous for his legal document called the Mapa our table cloth as the Askenazi accompaninet to Joseph Karo's Sephardi legal document the Shulchan Aruch (the set table). the synagogue was built in 1557 and the cemetery was used until 1799.
